E.tv’s long-running soap opera, Scandal!, has recently witnessed a notable surge in its audience numbers following an increase in its episode offerings starting in July. As reported by the South African Broadcasting Research Council, the show saw its viewership rise from 3.2 million in June to a commendable 3.6 million in July.

This increase is attributed to Scandal!’s strategic decision to broadcast new episodes daily at 19:30, making it the first South African soap opera to air every day in this manner.
